This morning, Ele Cooper braved a torrential downpour in order to attend the launch of Next‘s Hi Summer 2023 homeware range. It was worth the frizzy hair and sodden shoes.
Next has honed in on two big summer interiors trends: nautical (this collection has been dubbed ‘The Beach House’) and vintage (or ‘Vintage Charm’).
The Beach House comprises fun home accessories – we love the little beach hut – along with cushions, baskets and lamps.
Unsurprisingly, blue and white dominate the nautical line colour-wise, although there are also a few quirky distressed wood pieces.
Vintage Charm is embodied through whimsical picnic sets, nostalgic outdoor furniture and cute dotty parasols.
Other uber-cute homeware offerings include a gorgeous Moroccan-style jug-and-glass set, watering-can fairy lights, a bling-tastic mosaic mirror, and a beautiful candle with peonies hand-painted around the glass (this continues the peony theme we noticed at the launch of Next’s main spring/summer collection, blogged about back in November).
Next’s Hi Summer range will be in stores from mid-March.
